Since arriving in El Salvador, we've been to Antigua, Guatemala twice. Once with friends and once over Christmas with my parents. Antigua is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has beautiful Spanish Baroque architecture and colonial church ruins throughout the city. It also has amazing food and coffee. And the view is absolutely gorgeous - Antigua is surrounded by three large volcanoes.

The second time we visited Antigua, I completely forgot to pack my camera. And of course this is when we did a city tour and visited some beautiful churches. There are so many gorgeous ruins around the city and it's only a 4-5 hour drive from San Salvador. I'm sure we will be heading back to Antigua again over the next 3 1/2 years.
